Vivian Griffin, MD

Vivian Griffin, MD A graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Griffin served her residency in Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University. She completed her fellowship in radiation oncology at the largest cancer institute in North America, Princess Margaret Hospital. She has a strong clinical interest in breast cancer, prostate cancer, HDR brachytherapy, prostate brachytherapy, and Mammosite. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Griffin is a member of numerous national and international cooperative medical groups involved in researching cancer prevention and treatment therapies. She is an author on many peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at national meetings. She was principle investigator for Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), a national cooperative body investigating new therapies in radiation oncology.
